Every job, from intake to invoice.

Alloy is workshop software for the automotive trades. It tracks each job through your own phases, helps identify parts from a photo or a description, turns the job into a quote the customer approves online, and gives the customer a private page that shows the work as it happens.

It is a working prototype. You can look at a real job from it right now, without signing in.

What it does today

  • A board for every job

Each job sits in a phase you define for your workshop. Move it along as the work progresses and the board shows what is where, what has not started and what is done.

  • Part identification with AI

Photograph the part, describe it, or say it out loud. The assistant looks the vehicle up by plate or VIN, searches fitment and cross-references, and marks anything it could not verify as a lead rather than a fact.

  • Quotes the customer approves online

Parts and labour become a quote with GST. The customer approves it with a typed signature. Anything added after the quote goes to them as a separate adjustment, and an edited quote has to be approved again.

  • A customer page, no login

Share a private, expiring link. The customer sees a photo timeline of the work, the quote, each adjustment and the workshop's notes, and can write back. You choose what is customer-visible.

  • Printable quotes and invoices

Print the quote, or save it as PDF, straight from the browser. Once the quote is accepted, the invoice is generated from the approved lines and adjustments.

  • Your own price history

Keep supplier accounts on file, jump to a prefilled search on the supplier's site, and record what you ordered and paid. That history stays with your workshop, so the next quote starts from what the part actually cost you last time.

  • Your brand on the customer page

Upload a logo and the customer page carries your workshop's name and logo, not Alloy's.

  • Your choice of AI provider

Use Alloy's default, or bring your own key for Anthropic, OpenAI or Google. Keys are stored encrypted and only the last few characters are ever shown back.

  • A team with roles

Owner, admin and worker roles. Owners manage the team; settings and supplier accounts are kept away from workers.

The showcase is a live, read-only copy of the customer page for a demonstration job at the pilot workshop: the quote, the adjustments and their approval, the photos and the notes. No sign-in.
